Full of berries and spice with a palate of finesse, complexity and balance. The soft fleshy texture combining nicely with the mineral acid to give a wine with great length.
TASTING NOTES
A brilliant, vibrant, strawberry red, the wine displays lively aromatic strawberry, beetroot and black cherry notes, with hints of cardamon and star anise, with the subtle influence of French Oak spice adding further complexity. The palate is juicy and sweet fruited, full of ripe berry fruits, cherries and fine tannins. Subtle use of oak combines with a mineral acid drive to provide a palate of balance, texture and great length. A wine to be enjoyed upon release, or will reward those who patiently cellar over the next 5 years.
